This month is dedicated to Glen Santayana's family. Glen's father passed away last Sunday, April 14, 2002. We join the Santayanas in prayer.

Thanks to Edwin and Ding who sent in their corrections to the captions to some of our class pictures. They both "promise" to send more photos. Thanks especially to Ed Fune who sent in some incredibly clear photos. Especially the class 1B photo which was so big I had to reduce it. You can see the "poging-pogi" teenagers in their innocent faces. Ed also sent a priceless group picture which must have been taken during the first year.

Here's what Ed said in his letter:

Raoul, I have sent the class picture of section 1B. Mr. Francisco (Bining) Reyes was our adviser. I think I can recognize some of our classmates. I will be sending the names later. I just inserted a conversation between Glenn and Melvin and posted Melvin's set of class pictures. I appreciate Melvin's effort to place captions on the pictures so we could recall those faces. Sana lng, Melvin, send them again with a better resoltuion. In the process decided to update that page. Check it out.

I have been very busy and have not been able to update this page (I have yet to put up pictures from Melvin) but inspite of that I feel it is important to inform our batch of this sad development. Our prayers go with the Santayana household during this time of grief. If anyone wants to send their condolences you may send them thru Tito Cajulis or through this site and I will post them ASAP. Thanks Ray for informing us.

Raoul - i don't know if anyone else has pointed it out to you (and i'm not sure how i remember, because i wasn't there during y'all's 3rd year in high school), but... Top Row, 2nd to the last person between Pascual and Wilfredo Wenceslao whom you labeled as "Pena?". If memory serves, that looks like Alan Paet,- Mister One-Six-Twelve himself (he kept telling us in elementary that the reason he got so tall was because he took complex vitamin B1, B6, and B12 all the time.

i also have names of many of the grade 6-B class somewhere. Jojit Ranola helped me i.d. many of them, but i need to find the e-mail that has the names, so i'll send that out later. Still haven't had time to scan in old Don Bosco pictures. Sobrang busy talaga. Just came back (again!) from Chicago. Take care and God bless.

(Thanks for the correction Ernie. You're right. IT IS Alan Paet. I already made the correction .Earlier Ding Guzman also pointed a few errors. Funny thing is Alan was my seatmate until the time he left for the States in Third year). Has anyone heard from him? One of Tony Mapile's suggestion when he called me up a few weeks ago was to put up some sort of "Missing-In-Action" page where people who are looking for connections may be able to post their inquiries. I'll try to do that next.). I'll be waiting for that 6-B class picture. Excited ako at parami ng parami ang mga letrato. What's amazing is that those old pictures (especially the ones sent by Boy Masiluingan) were so clear that I could recognize people like Hector Hizon when he was in Grade 1. --- Raoul

I can recognize some of the faces (mukhang inosente pa) but not all. If anyone can supply me the names I'm sure we all would appreciate it).

Belated Easter greetings and an April fools greetings mga Bosco! I've had an avalanche of pictures this weekend. Thanks Ding and Cesar for your contributions. You will find their pictures in the Class Pictures, Memory Lane and a new Section called "Pictures From All Over." Another new topic is Current Events where we highlight articles about the Philippines. Feel free to send articles for this section.

As you can see, we keep on adding pictures and articles to this website. It's a little disorganized but I promise to clean this up when I get more free time. Natutuwa ako at maraming interesadong bumalik sa pinangalingan.
